Bobbie C. Hudson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bobbie Hudson of Travelers Rest SC, aged 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday December 28, 2021. She was surrounded by her family at her home of fifty years. Bobbie was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She worked in the textile mills, nursing homes, and home health and loved taking care of people. She also loved to sew and read books. Bobbie was a loving mother and grandmother (Granny Bobbie) to her children and grandchildren, a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a friend to so many more. Surviving are her daughters Robin Hudson (Shane) and Janet Phillips (Eddie), her grandchildren Tuesday Green, Brittany Phillips, and Brandon Barney, and her great- grandchildren Gracie Riden, Wynfield Melton, and Ryliegh Neese. She is also survived by her brother Roy Chapman (Kathy). She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of eighteen years, Julius Hudson, as well as her mother Ruth Scott Chapman, her Father William Calvin Chapman, her brothers Thomas Chapman of Belton, James Chapman of Hickory Taverns, and David Chapman of Princeton, and her two sisters Nellie Kelly of Belton and Edna Looney of Travelers Rest. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday January 4th, 2022 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be at the home.
