Dorothy Howard DeWees, 63, of Greenville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. Dorothy was pre deceased by her husband of sixteen years, Glenn E DeWees, and during her life worked in the medical service industry. She leaves behind two daughters, Dominoe Ashley (Blake Bratcher) and Danielle Nichole. Also surviving are two sisters Connie and Carolyn, two brothers Donnie and Johnnie and many special cousins, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a very talented artist and avid gardener. You could always find her painting something, making something or working in her yard. She fought long and she fought hard, never complaining, or giving up. She was the true definition of a fighter until the end. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Mausoleum of Mountainview Memorial Park in Travelers Rest. The family are at their respective homes.
