Kathy Diane Freeman, 60, of Fountain Inn, SC, passed away Tuesday June 16, 2020. Born in Avon Park, Florida on June 17,1959. She is the daughter of Bernice Murr Rumsey and predeceased by her father Arlee Stamey. Kathy grew up Greenville, SC and attended Parker High School. She then went onto receive her cosmetology license from Alpha Beauty School. She was a successful cosmetologist for 30 years. Though doing hair and nails was her passion, her love for her son and grandchildren paled in comparison. Kathy was of the baptist faith. Kathy is survived by her son Derrick Freeman, and her beloved grandchildren, Cobee Daniel Cummings, Christopher Blake Cottrell, Jerimiah Keenan Freeman, Troy Allen Freeman, and Arianna Nicole Freeman. Also surviving are her siblings Robert Stamey, Debbie Cox, Bryan Stamey, and Tina Bridwell, nieces and nephew and great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Barry Stamey. She was loved and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church 3028 Geer Highway Slater, SC on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM
