Kathy Walling Southern

Kathryn "Kathy" Walling Southern, age 49, of Marietta, SC., passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018. Born in Charleston, SC., she was the daughter of James Daniel Walling (Vickie) and Stephanie Anne Felkel. She is survived by four children Danyell Andrisek (Tyler), Landon Graham, Ashlyn Side (Chris), and KaeLee Mangus; her siblings Tammy Harris, Christina Barker (Corey), Deborah Hunt (Kevin), Chad Strohecker (Callie), and Jason Stephens (Nancy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen nephews and six nieces. Kathy enjoyed working as a taxi dispatcher and a waitress. She also enjoyed reading, visiting the mountains and spending time with her family. She was a loving person and will be greatly missed. A Memorial Celebration honoring her life will be held at a later date (to be announced) in the chapel of Travelers Rest Funeral Home.
