Kristopher Stewart Kirby Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kristopher Stewart Kirby, 32, of Taylors, SC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 8, 2022. Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Robert E. Kirby and Cora Tina Price Kirby. Kristopher attended Gateway Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle School and graduated from Blue Ridge High School. He then pursued a career in welding and was also a member of Jackson Grove Methodist Church. Kristopher was known for his love of cars and how much he enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Lady. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Robert Edward Kirby, Sr., and Hugh A. Price Sr. He is survived by: his mother, Cora Tina Price of Travelers Rest; his father, Robert Edward Kirby, Jr., of Taylors, and his sister Katrina Kay Kirby, of Travelers Rest. He is also survived by his grandmothers Thomasine Shumaker Price of Pelzer, South Carolina, and Joan Knight Kirby of Taylors, South Carolina. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14th, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 02:00 PM at Jackson Grove United Methodist Church 1401 Jackson Grove Road, Travelers Rest, SC. Funeral Services will follow immediately afterward in the sanctuary at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, *In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
