Myrtie Ruth Rollins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Myrtie Ruth Rollins was born Myrtie Ruth Oliver on February 10th, 1942. She left this world on August 17th, 2018. After years of sickness she left unexpectedly when it seemed her health had improved. Despite the hardships in her life Myrtie always had a smile on her face and a laugh in her heart. Myrtie is remembered by many for her spirit and loving nature. Her family treasures the memories of her sassy and mischievous personality. Myrtie spent the last few years of her life at Magnolia Manor. Those who met her there, described her as a light that drew everyone in. Myrtie was involved in everything at Magnolia Manor. She helped with activities and volunteered her time daily. She had a great love for playing Bingo. She impacted many lives at Magnolia, both staff and residents. Many residents’ family members loved Myrtie too. It was said that the light left Magnolia when she passed. Myrtie is survived by her daughters; LeRanda Kraeling and Amanda Rollins. LeRanda has a husband Jason and two young sons; Cole (12) and Dean (8). Amanda has a daughter, Saranna and her husband Joey Loperena, and a son Elijah Gregg and his wife Adrianna and their children; Saranna (3) and Gideon (1). Visitation will be Thursday August 23, 2018 from 1:00pm -2:00pm at the funeral home with Funeral Service at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park, Travelers Rest, SC
