Patricia Phillips Jones Eskew Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Patricia Phillips Jones Eskew, 77, transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, May 04, 2022, at her home after a long battle with recurring cancer. Born January 06, 1945, in Pickens, SC, she was the daughter of Jessie Mae Chapman Phillips and Raymond Phillips. She was a graduate of Carolina High School in Greenville. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Patricia is aware of her selfless, loving spirit. She exemplified elegance and dignity all the while remaining humble and modest. She would sacrifice anything for her children and grandchildren as well as anyone close to her heart. Her liveliness and wit were magnetic, drawing people close to her, young and old, from all walks of life. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Lynn C. Eskew, and her children, Timothy James Jones and Matthew Clayton Jones, daughter-in-law Farah Nicholson Jones and son-in-law Michael Richard Waka; and stepdaughter Allyson Clara Eskew, stepson Robert Ashmore Eskew, and stepdaughter in-law Stephanie Houser Eskew. She is also survived by beloved grandchildren Tripp Lee Jones and J. Asher Eskew. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband of 21 years, Terrell Clayton Jones, and brother Douglas Phillips. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at the Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC 29609.
